Brand objects that are useful and beautiful

Talea designs and manufactures bespoke objects for the communication campaigns of international groups: brand merchandise, retail, gift-with-purchase and mass-market premiums.

What we believe

An object is beautiful when it embraces its function

An object is beautiful when it embraces its function and travels through time keeping both its use and its charm. An object must be useful, beautiful and light: design, quality and price all engage our social, environmental and economic responsibility.

Working closely with brands, we imagine their unique objects, designed through virtuous and innovative processes. Well designed and well made, your object is your brand.

The method

Seven stages, from brief to pallet

A bespoke object is not a purchase, it is a development. Here is the path, with the lead times we usually hold.

  1. 01

    D0

    Analysis

We analyse each individual project to compose a specific answer: audience, use, budget, volumes, campaign calendar and compliance constraints.

    Deliverable Scoping and feasibility note

  2. 02

    D+5

    Specification

Drawn up jointly with the brand. It fixes the material, the finish, the marking, the required tests and the intended country of manufacture.

    Deliverable Signed specification

  3. 03

    D+10

    Research & design

Trend books, references, mood boards, hand drawings, 2D and 3D models. Designed from scratch by our Paris studio.

    Deliverable Boards and 3D renders

  4. 04

    D+18

    Costing

Make-or-buy arbitration project by project: what goes to Asia, what stays in Europe. Consolidated prices, minimum volumes and lead times.

    Deliverable Costing per scenario

  5. 05

    D+30

    Sampling

White model, then functional prototype. This is the stage where things get rejected, corrected, and where the project becomes an object.

    Deliverable Approved prototype and counter-sample

  6. 06

    D+60

    Manufacturing

Launch at partner factory, pre-production inspection on sample, in-line control and final inspection before shipment.

    Deliverable Inspection reports

  7. 07

    D+95

    Supply & dispatch

Warehousing, kitting, allocation by subsidiary and country, incoterms, customs documentation and delivery to points of sale.

    Deliverable Tracked multi-country delivery

Compliance & traceability

What your procurement and legal teams will ask for

On a promotional object, compliance is no longer a comfort argument: it is a knock-out criterion. The GPSR regulation (EU 2023/988) has applied since 13 December 2024 and explicitly covers these products.
